3BC is delighted to announce that the ‘lunch and learn’ talk to Solace Womens Aid on 28 October 2024 by our deputy head of chambers, Sana Mushtaq, was very well received by the organisation’s service providers. Her expertise in family law was deemed an invaluable source of information.

Solace is a leading specialist charity in the UK supporting women and children experiencing domestic abuse and sexual violence.

Solace exists to end the harm done through gender-based violence. Its aim is to work to prevent violence and abuse as well as providing services to meet the individual needs of survivors particularly women and children. Their work is holistic, invaluable and empowering, working alongside survivors to achieve independent lives free from abuse.

3BC is thrilled to announce that our former joint head of chambers, Ms Jacqueline Victor-Mazeli, was the very proud and deserving recipient of the EPRA Leadership and Entrepreneurial Awards 2024, celebrating quality through leadership, in recognition of her outstanding contributions not only as a barrister and mediator but also for her commitment to training and mentoring young adults wishing to join the legal profession.

As former joint head of chambers and member of the management committee, Jacqueline remains committed to facilitating access to the profession to the best and the brightest, particularly the groups which are underrepresented at the Bar.

3BC is delighted to announce a collaboration with the elite Queen Mary University of London, headed and organised by our very own deputy head of chambers, Sana Mushtaq. Sana, having completed her undergraduate studies at the university, has since been judging the quarter finals of the prestigious and long-standing George Hinde Mooting Competition for the past 4 years with great dedication and pride. Sana is now leading a passion project connected to the competition with the assistance of her esteemed colleagues. 3BC is honoured to be assisting with the training of the students participating in the upcoming 2024/2025 competition. 3BC is very excited to see how this years’ competition unfolds as it is well known to showcase exceptional talent and we are privileged to be part of the making of future barristers.
